About DAARTT (Danish Assistance to Afghan Rehabilitation and Technical Training)

DAARTT (Danish Assistance to Afghan Rehabilitation and Technical Training) is an NGO established in Afghanistan by the Danish People’s Aid (DPA) in 2003.

The organization is specialized in construction and has built more than 200 schools, clinics and other buildings in Afghanistan, but is also engaged in humanitarian activities, such as construction of wells for drought-hit families and distribution of non-food items and emergency cash to people in need. Activities are funded by AHF and Danish humanitarian funds. DAARTT is a member of ACBAR and of the Shelter and NFI, WASH and education clusters

Job Description

Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
Disposing of trash from bins and containers
Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job
To be always on time on duty.
Monitor the gate and the security of the compound
Responsible for the presence of all equipment’s around the office and willing to work in other areas flexibly when requested.
To keep the office yard clean.
To assist with all DAARTT field staff when officially needed
To receive and announce guests to the compound.
To treat any visitors with due respect and firmness.
To monitor that no weapons enter the compound.
To provide assistance when a staff is in need of his assistance.
To keep the compound and the guard room clean and tidy.

Job Requirements

At least have High school Degree
At least of five years’ previous working experience with an international organization INGO.
Be on time, honest
