Job Description

  • Disseminate weekly and monthly trackers and track reporting templates/deadlines.
  • Support with the collection of information for donor weekly, biweekly, and monthly reports.
  • Support with follow-up on inputs from different organization units for donor reports.
  • Share and track grants management action points and minutes.
  • File properly contractual project documents both in hard and soft copies (Box).  
  • Ensure that all submitted donor reports are circulated with relevant units in the country office and uploaded on Box and filed in hard copies.
  • Create and update regularly electronic and hard files, including grants tracker, reporting calendar, success story tracker, etc., related to proposals and grants.
  • Support other projects, initiatives, work streams, and any other work as and when assigned.
  • Participate in and take minutes of meetings as and when needed.
  • BVA admin support as and when necessary.
  • Printing, scanning, and filing Grants documents both in hard and soft.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Grants Team.
  • Follow up on inputs required for donor reports on a day-to-day basis.

Specific Duties:

  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of meetings or workshops with grant recipients.
  • Maintaining updated Grants Department tools and trackers.
  • Assist Grants Director on the daily basis activities or as assigned by him

Job Requirements

  • At least one to two years of work experience with NGOs (national) in Afghanistan in humanitarian and development programs in fields such as Grants, partnerships, Communication or Program (education, health, protection, WASH and emergency response).
  • University Degree in Economics, Business Administration or relevant is required.
  • Effective coordination skills
  • Being able to support in donor reporting, with good English writing and editing, together with the ability to speak both Dari and Pashto.
  • Good time management skills and good understanding of program/operation functions.
  • Experience in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong ability to communicate concisely and with impact.
  • Ability to work well under administrative and programmatic pressures, with very tight deadlines
