Job Description

  1. Summary of Key Functions
  • Conduct timely supervision of skilled and unskilled labors of cash for work project.
    • Coordinate and implement ADH project key activities of cash for work in the targeted

    districts of Herat.

    • Understand and carrying out all tasks of the project.
    • Collaborate with other engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve

    products and engineering processes.

    • Ensure all expenses stay within the allocated budget.
    • Perform regular inspections of equipment and scheduling maintenance or repairs.
    • Help different staff or engineering teams.
    • Inspect inventory and reporting inconsistencies as well as ordering materials.
    • Produce CAD drawings according to specifications.
    • Evaluate all products and processes and ensuring standardization of quality assurance

    measures.

    • Participate in various learning experiences, which may include attending workshops and

    training sessions.

    • Calibrate and troubleshooting equipment as required.
    • A completed apprenticeship or similar experience is recommended.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Practical experience using CAD software is required.
    • Ability to follow instructions and to collaborate with others.

Job Requirements

  1. Education: 

Bachelor degree or 14 grade from Engineering faculty or institutes

  1. Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant NGO experience

 

  1. REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Having professional knowledge and skill.
  • Effective reading, writing and interpretation communication skills.

 

  1. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Problem Solving: Probes all fruitful sources for answers, looks beyond the obvious and can see hidden problems, uses rigorous logic and methods to solve different problems within the community through effective solutions.
