Job Description

  • Develop and implement food safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and food safety standards.
  • Conduct regular food safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with bakeries to identify and implement best practices for food safety and quality assurance.
  • Regular monitoring on bakeries, food storages, food transportation, and food distribution process to ensure food safety throughout the cycle.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on food safety best practices for employees at all levels, bakeries, and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular testing and analysis of food products to identify any potential contamination or quality issues.
  • Oversee and manage the documentation and record-keeping of all food safety-related activities.
  • Investigate any food safety incidents or complaints and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, WFP standards, and best practices related to food safety and implement changes as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in food safety or quality assurance in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
  • Experience developing and implementing food safety policies, procedures, and programs
  • Strong communication, leadership, and training skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Regularly travel to the districts of Jawzjan provinces.
