Job Description

  • Ensure the patients triage, registration and measurements of vital signs
  • Organize the waiting time of patients by ensuring a well-organized queue system according to priorities, emergency cases and first come, first served basis
  • Identify patient in need of urgent care and refer them immediately to the equipped surgical center.
  • Take the measure of vital signs for all registered patients
  • Facilitate the referral of patients
  • Recording the relevant information in the patients register book and referral sheet.
  • Tally and register each patient in dressing and HMIS registers
  • Prepare monthly activates charts and graphs of the beneficiaries.
  • Keep the copy of monthly activity report, monthly pharmacy consumption report in a separate file.
  • Timely updating of stock cards for all the available medicines and consumables in FATPs.
  • The FATP nurse will provide service to injured patient in the target community
  • The FATP nurse will do dressing of wound injuries in timely manner
  • The FATP nurse will do registration of trauma patients with completing information as per requirement
  • The FATP nurse will provide trauma services to patient during the night and day through three shift system
  • The FATP nurse will refer sever trauma patient to nearest district hospital and provincial hospital
  • The FATP nurse will participate daily weekly and monthly technical meetings
  • The FATP nurse will do health education about how to safe from trauma during war and other natural disaster
  • The FATP nurse will provide weekly and monthly plans and will do act accordingly
  • The FATP nurse will sterilize equipment after each procedure as per IP standards
  • The FATP nurse preparing chlorine pyodin and other lotion as per standards
  • The FATP nurse preparing monthly report and submitting to office
  •  The FATP nurse coordinate with existence BHC and CHCs staff and supporting them for trauma affected patient treatment and coordination with community
  • Performing night duty base on FATP roster
  • The FATP nurse preparing and updating FATP inventory on quarterly basis as per OCCD Policy
 

Job Requirements

  • Graduated from a recognized nursing institute, and has to have valid certificate from MoPH.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with BPHS/EPHS or having working experience in emergency wards for same period
  • Familiar with BLS training is plus point
  • Demonstrated skills in health project management and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to travel to the targeted location
  • Ability to support provincial team and provide/receive constructive feedback
  • Knowledge of planning/organizing/communication skills
