Equality for Peace and Development Organization (EPDO) established as National NGO in 2010 and registered in Ministry of Economy.
EPDO envisions Afghanistan to be a peaceful, prosperous and developed state, where all Afghans enjoy equal rights without any form of discrimination.

EPDO’s mission is to empower and strengthen women and youth at the community and policy levels and promote human rights, peace and good governance.

Job Summary:
With the first phase of the Local Action Fund; EPDO, acting as a hub organization, supported the local CSOs, WROs, and networks in five provinces of Afghanistan that focused on peace-building initiatives and mentored them for the effective implementation of their action plans. Through the Local Action Fund, EPDO supported community-based organizations immediately with flexible institutional funding for their survival needs and to enable them to pay salaries and stipends to their staff and volunteers. Under the LAF 2.0, it aims to build communities’ resilience through economic recovery supporting SHGs and strengthening community-based CSOs beyond survival to become more effective and sustainable.
The evaluation consultant intends to assess the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability of the project; identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated; and provide actionable recommendations for future improvements and decision-making.
