Job Description

Mission 1: Implementation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in targeted communities:

  • Develop a plan for discovering and securing new business opportunities of livelihood but under the supervisor's and PM's direct supervision.
  • Identify new ways and methods for business development growth for the aforementioned activity.
  • Make sure that the line manager properly handles the follow-up database
  • Tasks include marketing surveys and meeting with relevant people.
  • The enterprise development officer is responsible for developing and conducting the relevant skills training and methods of the implementation for this programming
  • The enterprise development officer to address barriers to communities especially women such as access to market running of small businesses buying the raw materials and selling their final products
  • Have the ability to link the community, particularly women with the local market
  • He will plan and implement enterprise activities to provide coaching mentoring and support to vulnerable communities if possible women
  • Technical supervision on enterprises activities coach and mentor them
  • Provide technical support and narrative information on enterprise activities to the targeted beneficiaries
  • Liaise closely with the MEAL department to ensure that correct data is submitted on time.
 

Job Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES REQUIRED FOR THE JOB

  • Education (if relevant) and experiences expected:

Bachelor’s Degree Fields of Agriculture, marketing, business administration, economic or another related field. Also the ACF will select someone with a great deal of experience rather than related education.

  • -           At least 3 years of working experience as a enterprise development officer or supervisor (or similar position) in national or international organizations.
  • -           Experience in food security or livelihoods projects is required
  • -           Experience in enterprise development support projects is an asset
  • -           Experience in marketing and business development is an asset
  • -           Experience in medium, Small and micro enterprises is an asset  .
  • Technical skills:
  • -           Strong knowledge of local market and business development
  • -           Ability to effectively research and analyses markets data
  • -           Creativity and problem-solving skills
  • -           Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • -           Enhanced mobilisation and communication skills.
  • Transverse able skill:
  • Fluent in Dari and Pashto (Witten, spoken, Read).
  • Basin in English (Witten, Spoken, Reading).
