The IRC is seeking a Business English instructor, preferably female, to teach female staff working in IRC’s multiple offices in Afghanistan. This position will report to the Field Coordinator/Manager. She/he will be required to develop English curriculum for business environment. The position will focus on both written and spoken English most used in a multi-cultural working environment. It will work with students to build their capacity in using English in an international business environment, to include writing professional emails, networking with an international crowd using English, writing reports for international donors such as USAID and UN, and so forth. The Instructor will be required to first meet with the group of IRC female staff to determine their interests and levels. The Business-English Instructor will be hired for a span of up to 5 months, and are expected to work approximately 5 hours in the classroom per week, plus prep and assessment work.
