Welthungerhilfe it is one of Germany's biggest non-governmental relief organizations. Non-profit making, politically independent and non-denominational, the organization is run by a Supervisory Board of honorary members under the patronage of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its work is funded by private donations and public grants. Welthungerhilfe is working since the 1980’s continuously in Afghanistan and opened the first offices in 1992. Since this time Welthungerhilfe has implemented some 165 projects in Afghanistan. Main fields of Welthungerhilfe intervention in Afghanistan are emergency relief, food and nutrition security, rural and regional development and water and sanitation.
Purpose of the Position
The purpose of the Driver position in WHH working in Kabul is to provide safe and reliable transportation support to facilitate the organization's vital activities and programs. Driver has a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies in challenging and often volatile environments. The driver is responsible for operating vehicles in compliance with local traffic laws and WHH policies, maintaining the vehicles in good working condition, and practicing defensive driving techniques to mitigate risks. The candidate must have previous experience working with INGOs and be a resident of Kabul city who knows the routes and areas of Kabul city and the central region.
Qualifications and Education Requirement:
