1. Involve in the project implementation
Participate in the planning of all the activities of the WaSH soft program;
Support the design of key messages booklets, tools and kits for trainings for the committees;
Support the PM in the Procurement Request process and in the follow-up of the budget;
Ensure the collaboration with the local authorities in the intervention areas;
Participate/organize the assessments in the field and llead the KAP surveys
Collect team data and reports on regular basis;
Analyse the data collected and note down any errors;
Support the PM in the writing of weekly and monthly reports.
Attend external meetings in absence of PM or whenever asked.
Attend base meetings in absence of PM
Participate in bid openings and selection of suppliers
Ensure that security rules and procedures are followed before, during and after the works in the field
Identify the beneficiaries and the interventions to implement and distribute WASH items as per the criteria and strategy explained by the supervisor
Organize the movement of the teams
Monitor the WASH soft components activities on regular basis
2. Supervise the activities of the program and the team members:
Give a technical support to the supervisor;
Follow-up the progress of the activities in compliance with the planning done by the PM;
Ensure the supply for soft component available in the stocks;
Supervise the quality of the works and the respect of deadlines;
Supervise and evaluate the activities of the hygiene promoters
Supervise the implementation of all software activities;
Ensure with the supervisors the monitoring of water facilities and the work of the water committees.
3. Training, sensitization and social mobilization:
Ensure the WASH soft component training to the hygiene promoters.
Ensure the follow-up of WASH soft component awareness sessions to the beneficiary.
Ensure the participation of communities to attend the hygiene and sanitation training.
Ensure that population accept and implement the hygiene practices taught by the promoters.
Coordinate hygiene and sanitation activities and sensitize local partners in the field ;
Organize Coordination meetings with community members to develop their knowledge in terms of personal hygiene practices.
4. Relay ACF activities and objectives to the communities and Partner
Develop contacts and explain to stakeholders and to populations the WASH soft activities and the objectives of the programs;
Represent the organisation with the beneficiaries in agreement of the hierarchical supervisor;
Coordinate and inform local authorities about all aspects of WASH soft activities;
Involve and inform the communities in the implementation of the WASH soft program;
At least professional experience of 2 years in WASH ;
Skills and experience in supervision of WASH soft activities.
Skills in capacity building, Management and social mobilization;
Analysis and problem solving skills
Knowledge in training and management;
Good analysis and problem solving skills;
Good team management , organizational and training skills
Experience in project management and project cycle
Knowledge in budget and stock management;
Knowledge of computer software Word, Excel, Power Point;
Good knowledge in English language ( oral written)
Ability to work with a team;
Ability to work and live in hard conditions on the field;
Knowledge on organization, planning and respect of deadlines.
Excellent communication with people

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with local partners and the community members
Flexibility, dynamism and autonomy
Excellent knowledge of local languages (oral written)
