The Assistant Country Director - Program (ACD-P) is responsible for ensuring that CARE's programs in the country of her/his assignment contribute to CARE's vision of "a world of hope, tolerance and social justice, where poverty has been eliminated and people live with dignity and security". The ACD-PQ is expected to provide strategic leadership in the areas of program development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and ensure that CARE's programs and projects make a significant contribution to reducing poverty and social injustice.
The ACD-P will meaningfully contribute to and progress the strategic management decisions and actions resulting from the implementation of the business plans that were developed as a result of the country presence review. In close collaboration with other senior staff of the SMT ensure the development, preparation, coordination, monitoring and documentation of the outcomes linked to the implementation of the Shared Delivery Model; ensuring an integrated approach to the change management processes and taking the necessary actions to support and lead the implementation of the reform initiatives.
