YHDO is a non-governmental and non-for-profit organization established in 2009, registered with ministry of economy in Afghanistan. YHDO works with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement innovative, culturally appropriate, evidence based interventions.
Background:
The Ministry of Public Health has undertaken COVID-19 control measures ever since the cases
were spreading from China to the whole world. These measures consist of coordination and
communication with related ministries and authorities, case detection and isolation, case
management, contact tracing and risk communication.
In order to determine the extent of infection in the general population and age-specific infection,
the fraction of asymptomatic or subclinical infections, the deaths rates in different times and
COVID-19 deaths in population and to identify cause of deaths in Afghanistan, the MoPH intends
to conduct national COVID-19 phone survey.
The data collector will be responsible for the following tasks;
· Individuals having at least 14 degree, preferably with medical background
· Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work well in team
One year relevant experience.
· Fluent in local languages and awareness on the local context
· Have the needed knowledge of English language as well
· Individuals trained as enumerators should preferably have prior field experience,
· Experience in using a computer and tablets
· Return all survey tools e.g. Tablets, questionnaires, and filled observation tools to the field
supervisor
Desirable (working experience with the data entry programs)
