HEWADis a preeminent first responder, HEWAD provides emergency relief to those struck by conflict, disaster and disease—no matter where they are, no matter what the conditions—working with them to recover, rebuild and gain the skills and tools required for self-reliance. After the emergency has passed and our disaster-relief effort has ended, we shift from emergency medical response to long-term medical support and training. HEWAD provides resources and training to help local staff provide a range of services—including healthcare, food, water and sanitation support—to their communities.

In Afghanistan where fundamental human rights are at risk, we need principled and ethical staff, who embody these international norms and standards, and who will defend them courageously and with full conviction.

HEWAD is seeking candidates that transform, inspire, and deliver high impact and sustained results; we need staff who are transparent, exceptional in how they manage the resources entrusted to them and who commit to deliver excellence in programme results.

Job Description

  1. Check security passes for individuals entering the encashment compound.
  2. Closely supervise and control the crowed of new returnees in encashment center.
  3. Try to make the que for receiving the cash and others assistance they are entitle.
  4. Ensure and deliver receipts and other valuable items.
  5. Make sure that every individual reach to the concern person and solve his/her problem.
  6. Report any deviation to your close supervisor.
  7. Maintain the order on properties or in large groups.
  8. Monitor security systems and be ready to alert authorities.
  9. Offer advice on better security services for clients.
  10. Offer directions to authorized guests.
  11. Patrol properties and ensure that all points of entry are secure.
  12. Watch for safety hazards.
  13. Directing returnees both male and female to the Training Hall and other specified places.
  14.  Good behavior with the vulnerable returnees.
  15. Any other duty assigned by the team leader.

Job Requirements

  1. Minimum of 2 years of working experience as a Crowd Controller or in relevant fields.
  2. ‌Bachelor’s degree in Social science and education.
  3. Good MS Office knowledge (Ms. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  4. Locals (from mentioned districts and provinces) will be preferred.

Skills Required:

  1. Able to work with hard-to-reach people in communities.  
  2. Sensitivity to religious, cultural, and gender issues in the local context, and for targeted districts in mentioned provinces in particular.
  3. Ability to develop a practical working plan for the field.
  4. Good communication, facilitation, presentation, and report-writing skills.
