Community Action for Healing Poverty Organization (CAHPO) is Afghanistan-based NGO (www.chapo.com ) has been established in 2013 by a group of expertise in support of professional advisers and volunteers in response to the needs. was that people affected by different means of violence should be involved in decision-making for positive change in the development process of the country. 

CAHPO is a member of different coordination bodies E.g ACBAR where we share our programs with other NGOs and partners.  CAHPO is an active partner of UN OCHA, AHF, and FAO.

Job Description

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

The Community Workers are responsible for managing the social mobilizer, working with the communities facilitating the processes of project implementation for each outputs as well as surveying, preparing profiles, and entering the data in Kobo.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Implement the related tasks of community mobilization of CAHPO’s FAO-funded project in three districts of Helmand province.
2. Selection of communities and or villages for the program as per the criteria
3. Selection of beneficiaries as per the criteria and entry in the Kobo Tool Box. 
4. Preparing community and beneficiaries profile.
5. Distribution of inputs for livestock, poultry, mushroom, greenhouses, summer crop, and wheat seed distribution, solar dryer, and preparing related documents attested by the related local CDCs and shuras.
6. Preparing beneficiaries’ lists as per the provided format.
7. Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
8. Provision of technical training to farmers on item mentioned in serial number 5.
9. Maintain a good work to achieved good quality outputs
10. Organize and scheduling field visits, training sessions, meetings with local leaders as well as women groups as appropriate.
11. Identify trainings related to each items/activities mentioned under serial number 5 above
12. Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to CAHPO and to not jeopardize its mission.
