Community Action for Healing Poverty Organization (CAHPO) is Afghanistan-based NGO (www.chapo.com ) has been established in 2013 by a group of expertise in support of professional advisers and volunteers in response to the needs. was that people affected by different means of violence should be involved in decision-making for positive change in the development process of the country. 

CAHPO is a member of different coordination bodies E.g ACBAR where we share our programs with other NGOs and partners.  CAHPO is an active partner of UN OCHA, AHF, and FAO.

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Has teamwork spirit, manage the team of project and support, assist project manager on the project issues.

  • Competencies( knowledge, skills, and practice) of hygiene promotion and protection facilitation and training
  • Prepare detailed plans for specific training for the project and ensure the quality of the activities meet and give workshops, training courses, and other development activities to staff.
  • Communicate with partner NGOs staff (female and male and if possible provincial managers as well). Particularly facilitation of the female activities and project areas.
  • Establish reporting roles together with partner (female and male) staff that receive weekly plans and reports. Review their monthly activities and progresses
  • Feedback to activities, check the progress against the plan. Communicate with local partner relevant staff on the improvement and recommendation.
  • Communicate and coordinate the activities with other stakeholders in Nangarhar, (e.g. Woman Affairs Dept...)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other players working in the same sectors (NGOs, UN agencies, line departments) – build up the capacity of local partners and monitor projects implemented by local partners.
  • Strive to encourage local partner’s female staff to mobilize community involvement and contribution in all project stages.
  • Cooperate and coordinate with other project stakeholders (Shuras, NGOs, CDCs, GOs, Donors) in consultation with the Program Manager and/or team leader.
  • Check the acceptance of training in all the communities with the partner staff.
  • Coordinate the facilitation and training plan with local staff for better implementation
  • Manage and ensure appropriate documentation, files, and record-keeping systems
  • Prepare training manual and curriculum (charts, pictures, presentations) for the training in local languages.
  • Provide feedback on the project especially on female activities against the plan
  • Communicate the project activities with other stakeholders including relevant government departments
  • Supervise day-by-day other subordinates  
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans and reports
  • Plan and manage meetings with partner organizations and government bodies relevant
  • Ability to travel to the provinces and outside of the country in CAHPO business
 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or university degree in health, social science, or other relevant fields
  • Administrative skills
  • Have at least three years of experience in the similar field
  • Familiar or learn the concepts of facilitation, training, and coaching roles
  • Familiar with Project Cycle Management
  • Experience in supervising, data collection, and analysis
  • Fluency speaking, writing in Pashto, Dari, and English
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Communication skills
  • Status: Prefer Married
