Job Purpose
The Community Mobilizer/Health Educator works in Mobile Team to maintain close relationship with the communities to facilitate a smooth project implementation. Facilitate awareness on health creation measures and facilitate responses to community and develop contact and professional relationships with community elders, religious leaders and the Community Development Councils. He/She will ensure the smooth running of assigned project activities in the targeted areas and report to the Protection Officer and Project Manager. He/She will represent the organization as an intermediary with the committees.

Qualifications
Baccalaureate (12th class) degree or have relevant education health sector.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field will be desirable
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
proven experience in community mobilization/health education in remote areas.
3 years of experience in a similar capacity is desirable
Competency
Relationships: Able to build good relationships with the women beneficiaries, women community focal points, and other women actors).
Able to use survivor-centered service provision approach. Seeks to understand problems from the beneficiary’s point of view, identifies beneficiary’s needs, and provide the required services
Communication: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively. Listens to others and shows real commitment to maintaining open communication with the beneficiaries and team members.
Teamwork: Committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals/objectives. Willing to learn from others and open to feedback.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Strong communication, facilitation, and writing skills with fluency in spoken and written Dari, and Pashto
Willingness, enthusiasm, and experience in working with vulnerable women, and IDPs with a special focus on their social empowerment
Demonstrated ability to provide specialized services to beneficiaries, effectively plan, and set priorities.
Familiarity with provision of basic health/first aid services to people in community
