Job Description

  • Improving ACTED presence and visibility in the field level.
  • Daily field visit for each household/ village which is under a particular project to ensure work done/quality/mobilization / community base accountability and confirm all the proposed activities according to the program design and feasibility.
  • S/he is fully responsible for his / her activities in terms of quality, the meeting of deadlines and to ensure community/beneficiaries ownership and sustainability,
  • Coordination including communities/project team etc. and liaison with local authorities and field stakeholders;
  • The CM will communicate to communities where the programme takes place, the targeting criteria and relevant channels to submit complaints and feedback for both beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries.
  • Daily site visit and monitoring of relevant communities
  • Mobilize community to implement of the projects according to the approved timetable plan.
  • Mediate any disputes that arise in the community related to the program.
  •  Payment follow-up of the payment to the project beneficiaries and giving advice to beneficiaries on how to use cash most appropriately during the winter
  • Monitor the progress of the work and immediately share to line manager and project team and the project manager in case of any complaints from the target communities/beneficiaries and in case of major problems, delays and/or deviations from agreed plans/standards/proposal.
  • Collect and maintain relevant documentation and records of project activities including up-to-date information on village activities and progress;
  • To keep the beneficiaries informed of the dates of distribution and of their correct entitlements.
  • To be present during the distributions, to monitor their process.
  • Make sure compliance and transparency mechanisms are implemented with the AMEU department
  • Prepare the weekly plan himself belongs to the field team and share to Line manager. 
  • Prepare weekly reports to the Line manager with detailing progress and challenges;
  • Any other assignment as may be required by the Line manager.
  • Program related functional support with FLATS
  • Program side inputs to assist wherever need.
  • Maintain and update program files in the field office.
  • Review and confirm all payment /completion of the works as line manager guidance/ finance procedures

Others:

  • Adhere to HAP standards as set by ACTED
  • Ensuring that gender equivalence/equity policy is implemented at all program levels and in all aspects of the programme activities.
  • Any other task as assigned by the line manager.
  • Represent ACTED in the sector working groups planning workshops at district level.
  • Ensure good communication with beneficiaries, local partners and local authorities at the field level represent ACTED at relevant coordination meetings under the request of the line manager
 

Job Requirements

  • Possession of a Bachelor Degree
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in the as humanitarian or development sector
  • Good communication skills including written and spoken
  • Excellent diplomacy skills
  • Experience in community mobilisation, overseeing large-scale and complex beneficiary selection procedures, and managing cash distributions is desirable
