Job Purpose
The Community midwife/female nurse works in Mobile Team to predominantly provide awareness on basic health messages focused on women and girl’s needs, provide first aid services, referrals to the health facilities and work closely with Psychosocial Counsellor to support women and girls holistically to meet their needs. The position holder is also responsible to provide regular reports to the protection officer/project manager on the work delivered at the field level.

Qualifications:
Holding a degree from a registered midwifery/nursing school or relevant educational institute.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
proven experience in the provision of first aid services, and basic health awareness.
3 years of experience in a similar capacity
Proven experience in the provision of first aid services, and basic health awareness/support is desirable.

Relationships: Able to build good relationships with the women beneficiaries, women community focal points, and other women actors).
Able to use survivor-centered service provision approach. Seeks to understand problems from the beneficiary’s point of view, identifies beneficiary’s needs, and provide the required services

Strong communication, facilitation, and writing skills with fluency in spoken and written Dari, and Pashto

Familiarity with provision of basic health/first aid services to people in community
