International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global humanitarian nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief programs. IMC is carrying out medical relief services in several provinces of Afghanistan.

Scope of work: 

They will work at IDP settlements, disaster affected and host communities, mobilize community people and IDPs, community leaders, people with disability, elderly and providing the patient with the first health services and administering specific vaccinations to the target people.

Activities:

• Providing RMNCH services based on MISP.

• Field - Provide all relevant documents required before you leave, such as: Talley Sheet, Registration, Dreifer Documents , ANC , PNC , FP Cards and so on .

• Providing the first facilities for the newborn child, including small resuscitation, heat care, contact with the puncture, eye care (the use of Tetris cline balm), the use of chlorine hexedine to close the veins and the care of the veins, and pre-feeding through the chest.
•  Identifying danger symptoms and complications, including prenatal bleeding, postnatal bleeding, eclampsia, preeclampsia, anemia, and antennae, and referring it to high-level centers.
• Providing normal birth services to pregnant mothers when necessary.
• Providing appropriate Family Planning Services based on MHTE bastion
• Ensure that all mothers are checked for malnutrition and given appropriate advice on the events that have occurred.

• Ensure that all pregnant mothers have the right amount of iron and folic acid tablets formed daily.
• Provide health education and information about Reproductive health and IYCF to pregnant and lactating mothers.
• Keep Record of all activities carried out and make weekly or monthly reports.
