The USAID funded Urban Health Initiative (UHI) Program’s goal is to improve health outcomes of people living in urban areas, particularly focusing on the health of women and children and other vulnerable populations. Interventions aim to increase demand, access and quality of health services. Lead by Jhpiego and implemented by a dynamic consortium of organizations, UHI is implemented in five cities in Afghanistan – Kabul, Herat, Mazar-e-Sharif, Jalalabad and Kandahar.
esponsibilities:
Keep cleaning the hospital building and equipment.
Provide cleaning and supportive services to health care providers and patients.
Cleaning/washing of rooms, corridor and the yard of hospital every day and as per required.
Cleaning of hospital environment and equipment considering the IP control protocol.
Collecting, placement and transport of medical and non-medical waste in proper locations.
Cleaning patients’ bed, replacement of bed sheets and bathing patients when necessary.
Perform any other task assigns by in charge doctors.
Qualification Required:
Graduate of high school or at least to read and write
At least two years of work experience in a COVID hospital
Abilities/Skills:
Ability to work successfully in teams, across a diverse team in a complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform
Strong skills in facilitation, team building and coordination
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including strong writing, analytical and communication skills in Dari, Pashtu and English (preferable)
