Job Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for planning, implementing, and answer to all call coming to CHL and Inform child helpline callers about the helpline services and gather relevant information needed to be able to assess their needs and enter the data collected in the child helpline database Peer Support Groups, Child Rights Clubs, and Community Protection Committees (CPC) in the IDPs and the host communities in which War Child UK’s is operating in the Western region of Afghanistan.

Person Specification
War Child in Afghanistan operates in a dynamic environment with a team of highly motivated and dedicated staff. The right candidate will share these qualities and bring effective leadership to a diverse team. The position requires strong relationship management and coordination skills, experience in humanitarian programming and protracted emergencies, supporting partners in a remote setting, a good knowledge of the challenges of operating in cross border environment, and experience with capacity assessment and capacity building.
