Job Description

Key Functions:

  • Conduct the assessment in the project target communities based on the male BNF list.
  • Regarding and uploading data through kobo system and share the report with project team on daily basis.
  • Attend the training on how to conduct the assessment and using of kobo system.
  • Attend on each meeting with the district governance authority, DAIL representative and CDC elders requested by the project team.
  • Fulfill any other task assigned by project team.

KEY RELATIONS

  1. Project manager, Horticulture specialist, agribusiness specialist and Horticultur officer.
  2. Duty Locations: Balk (Chimtal and charbolak district).

Key Results Expected

  • Capable to conduct and surveys of all orchards, trellising system, and dry rising kits.
  • Develop and implement survey plans based on the given time.
  • Maintaining good relations with other authorities and humanitarian actors
  • Make sure proper regard the data and uploaded to the system on daily basis.
  • Fulfill any other task assigned by project team.

 

COMPETENCE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Core Competencies:

  • Well aware of gender norms and gender sensitive topics
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be able to conduct surveys, need assessments of the communities
  • Well familiar in community mobilization research, monitoring, evaluation and report writing

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor Degree in horticulture and agriculture.

Work Experience: At least one years’ experience in survey, assessment of development program in international organization.

Languages Skills: Fluency in written and spoken Dari and Pushto languages.
