CP Group is a national organization established in 2016 with expertise in project management, organizational development, training, capacity building, survey, and research.  Support humanitarian and development interventions such as water, sanitation, access to road, education, and community infrastructure, strengthen livelihoods and business development initiatives, and access to market and supply chain.

Job Description

The Training Material Developer/Subject Matter Expert develops curriculum and learning material both for the teacher and students to meet the competence development needs identified during assessment.

  • Conduct training needs assessment survey;
  • Conduct exam evaluating staff capacity;
  • Conduct comprehensive face-to-face and online training full-time training workshops;
  • Develop training plan, training schedule, presentation, revision of training material/course material
  • Considering the local context, culture/sensitivities, and geographical environment in planning and delivering training to be applicable.
  • Assist with training material development and translation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education/ training

The position holder must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, especially in the field of training or other relevant areas, as well as extensive professional experience.

Work Experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years working in international humanitarian relief and development. 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience designing training modules to conduct training sessions for senior staff and supporting staff using adult learning methods with NGO and government organizations.
  • Proven ability to think and lead strategically, plan effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience and understanding of international humanitarian and development work.
  • Displayed ability in preparing well-organized, coherent reports, templates, and other training documents.
  • A consistent and proven track record as an exceptional team player and leader.

  • Fluency in written and spoken Dari and Pashto and very good in English
