Watan's Social and Technical services Association «WSTA» is a humanitarian organization, established in 1992 for the purpose of assisting vulnerable Afghan returnees and IDPs, This organization has been registered with ministry of Economy and has the permission to work in all over the country. As well as WSTA has membership of ANCB, ACBAR and based on code No. WON and registration No. OPS-CR-0535, with estimable UNOPS office.
AHF funding mostly provide life-saving assistance to most vulnerable population in Afghanistan but considering the existing needs, the resources cannot provide full response therefore, advocacy is an important activity which can ensure that the project participants including men, women, children, persons with disabilities, etc. can be directed to other actors/interventions. The advocacy manager will closely work with the target communities, donors, de-facto authorities and other stakeholders to address the problems/needs in order to find possible solutions. He/She will be based in our Kabul main office, and will have frequent travel to our regional and field offices. Only salary is considered with no other allowances.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Advocacy plan and implementation
Prepare annual budget and work plan related to Advocacy Unit
Implement projects in a proper quality and in accordance with the project scope and timeframe;
Update advocacy strategy plan every three months
Research and analysis
Comment on the research reports
Build, develop and maintain relations with government and nongovernment organizations in Kabul and provinces;
Attend meetings with government, donors
Project management and reporting
Lead advocacy activities and ensure
Carry out internal and external reports to the line manager and donors
Make sure that all the aims of the projects are met
Report on the outcomes and the performance of the project
Ensure project delivery in a timely manner and with attention to quality
Ensure implementation of organizational policies
Any other tasks given by Deputy Director.
University graduate preferably in management public administration social work community development subjects.
