Job Description

IT assistant Job Descriptions:

  • Maintain and upgrade the computer of Staff in Khost office.
  • Diagnoses equipment’s operation problem and make required repair.
  • Basic Hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Check and ensure all the electronic equipment requested by the concern department before recommending the new ones.
  • Evaluate and supervise the installation and maintenance of computer networks in the field office.
  • Maintain and setup computer networks/wireless in the khost office.
  • Maintain and develop a proper data backup for field staff.
  • Installation of antivirus in all computers and ensure the users update the antivirus on a regular basis.
  • Keep up to date records of IT equipment’s of the Khost office.
  • Be able to fix daily computer and network troubleshooting.
  • Installation and configuration of different software including Operating.
  • Installation of Wireless access point/router for the khost office.
  • Be able to install and troubleshoot printers.
  •  Network cabling for internet, CCTV, Cable TV, telephone.
  • Installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras
  • Reviewing and making IT policies and procedures from time to time.
  • Another task assigned by supervisor.  

 

Admin Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Follow up the daily task in office.
  • Managing and control all stock and prepare monthly stock report and submit to the admin officer.
  • Managing and controlling all khost office Fixed Assets, Inventory and data bases in the office
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Coordination and collaboration with program staff and provide facilities.
  • Organize and maintain computerized records.
  • Supervise and control the loading and unloading of materials.
  • Supervise and control the guards, cleaners, and cooks.
  • Maintaining registration book for incoming/outgoing mail
  • Prepare and translate contracts, letters, and other official documents.
  • Make duties schedule for staff house and office guards.
  • Supervise the kitchen and cook on a daily base and ensure about health and hygiene standards.
  • Control the internet, photocopy machine.
  • Check and maintain administration records and filling system regularly.
  • Keep update a computerize store data in-out of the items and Fix Assets
  • Prepare and update the inventory list of all related departments.
  • Maintain and arrange food and stationery stock with proper recording system of usage.
  • Follow up with HR daily tasks.
  • Follow up with employee leave records and update! In male section.
  • Follow up with daily attendance records and report to Admin/HR Officer /Regional head of support services.
  • Preparing monthly attendance reports and sharing them to Admin/HR officer /Regional head of support services.
  • Act as focal point of HR for male section.
  • Any other official task assigned by supervisor

Job Requirements

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduate from a recognized University in computer science or other IT related field.
  • Having Diploma in networking is a plus point

 

Work Experience:

  • Two or three years of experience as Admin/IT assistant
