The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) is a member-based solidarity organization that has been working in support and solidarity with the Afghan people for more than 35 years. The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Prevention of and protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) is the individual and collective responsibility of all NAC officers, management, staff, consultants, and volunteers, who are all required to familiarize themselves with, agree to, and act in accordance with NAC’s Ethical Guidelines and Commitment, NAC Child Protection Policy, and NAC PSEAH Policy, at all times – both during and outside working hours – and participate actively in introductory and refresher trainings. Any breaches of PSEAH clauses in NAC’s policies, guidelines, and/or commitments will lead to immediate termination and possible legal actions.

Job Description

  • Follow up on the daily task in the office.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Coordination and collaboration with program staff and provide facilities.
  • Coordination with finance to avoid mistakes.
  • Organize and maintain computerized records.
  • Supervise and control the guards, cleaners, drivers, and cook.
  • Maintaining attendance book for staff houses and preparing a monthly report.
  • Make a duties schedule for the staff house and office guards.
  • Supervise the kitchen and cook daily and ensure health and hygiene standards.
  • Supervise and check the Kabul staff houses.
  • Check and maintain administration records and filing system regularly.
  • Supervise drivers and vehicles and ensure the good maintenance of all vehicles.
  • Supervise and check store records and items issued and received.
  • Maintain and report the food cost and timesheet on time.

Any other official business agreed with the line manager

Job Requirements

Language requirements, if any:

  •  Dari and Pashto are essential.
  • English will be preferred

Qualifications Required:

Bachelor’s Degree of – BBA

Work Experience:

  • At least 3 Years of experience.

Skills:

  • Computer skill in Microsoft office and Windows is essential.
  • Filling and writing communication
  • Problem-solving
  • Willingness to learn
